Photo Paper
Photo paper is also known as photosensitive printing paper, photographic paper and printing paper, which is the traditional printing industry used to rinse a photo of a material. It applied to the inkjet industry later and is referred to as photo paper. Photo paper is the preferred material for inkjet design renderings.
Photo paper can be divided into three categories according to its output image: the traditional sense of the silver salt print paper, inkjet prints and printing photographic paper. The current photo paper in the market is widely used in wedding photography, children's photography and other professional image output areas. What's more, there are advertising materials, menus, business cards, resume and home office use of various types of public areas.

Silver salt prints paper
Silver salt printing photo paper is the traditional sense of the paper, with a certain wet strength, acid, alkali thick paper, high stiffness, folding degree. The paper is coated with a photographic emulsion, illuminated by light and the use of a chemical after imaging, which can remain long.
Currently on the market silver salt prints of the types of paper
(1)Glossy photo paper: high brightness, good reflector, but easy to stained with fingerprints, the best clarity. It is generally suitable for product photos and art photos, landscape photos.
(2)Suede photo paper: the surface is relatively rough, no reflective, easy to stained with fingerprints longer, but the degree of translucency relative glossy paper low. Suede photo paper is more soft, especially suitable for the performance of characters.
(3)Silken face paper: the surface is the effect of silk, silk texture, the light showing silk shiny, delicate and delicate, very three-dimensional sense.
2. Inkjet prints:
Inkjet prints are the recipients of the inkjet printer nozzles that eject ink and record images or text on top of them. Its basic characteristics are ink absorption speed, ink droplets do not spread.
Specific requirements:
①Good recording, strong ink absorption, fast ink absorption speed. Droplet diameter is small, the shape of the approximate round.
②Fast record speed, that is, high density, tone continuous, clear picture.
③Good preservation , The screen has a certain water resistance, light resistance, in the indoor or outdoor have a certain preservation and fastness.
④Coating has a certain degree of fastness and strength. The coating is not easy to scratch, no static, having a certain degree of sliding, resistant to folding.
Inkjet printing paper according to its characteristics are divided into:
①Casting class: the use of micron-grade silica process, brightness and whiteness can reach the level of traditional paper, but the paper-based paper-based.
②Expansion class:(PVA) based on the formation of Peng Run-type coating applied to the base paper;
③Microporous technology categories: RC coated paper using silica technology to form inorganic – organic composite particles ink printing, immediately similar to the honeycomb-like microporous absorption known as microporous phase paper. Paper-based paper with the same traditional paper, coated on both sides of the base paper waterproof PE coating called RC waterproof paper.
3.printing photo paper:
Printing paper is a digital printing of the substrate. The surface and the electronic ink has a good affinity, can make the electronic ink firmly fixed on the substrate surface. What's more, there is better waterproof and anti-adhesion function for printing paper. After printing the image has enough reflection density.
Printed paper according to its surface characteristics are divided into three categories:
(1)Double-sided fine velvet digital printing paper. Printing smooth and delicate, double-sided printing, it is mainly for photo albums and photo books and other high-quality video output applications field.
(2)Korean velvet digital printing photo paper. Printed image is soft, generally used for high-end video output, such as landscape photography, art and other applications.
(3)Pearlescent digital printing paper. With excellent pearl effect, reflecting the elegant and light flashing texture. It is mainly for high-quality portrait works output, product publicity pictures, creative works and high-quality production of the album.
Digital printing paper is currently on a global scale, only three countries of the producers can produce: Germany's ancient buildings, Japan's Mitsubishi and China's Lok Kai. The German ancient building started the earliest, the most mature technology.
Photo paper is divided into four to five layers:
1. The basis of the paper is consistent with a quality standard fiber paper base. Paper paper must be white and white, uniform texture, not easy to deformation. The paper base has a different thickness standard.
2. Barium oxide layer. Paper paper on the basis of thin layer of barium oxide, to fill the paper paper-based small defects, increase the degree of white paper.
3. A resin layer of paper on the barium oxide layer on the polyethylene resin layer, to prevent the rinse the paper when the chemical liquid into the paper base. Paper without a polyethylene resin layer is called paper-based paper, and a paper with a polyethylene resin layer is called coated paper.
4. Photosensitive emulsion layer.
5. The paper surface protective layer.
Differences between RC paper and FB paper:
Fibre-based papers are mainly used for exclusively high-quality prints and to maximise Archival Stability. The Paper Base of Resin-coated Photographic Papers is sealed against the chemicals used for processing the paper by two polyethylene layers. Since no chemicals and no water is soaked into the Paper Base the time needed for processing, washing and drying of the paper is significantly shorter than the time needed for Fibre-based papers. In a traditional black-and-white darkroom, an RC print can be finished and dried within 10-15 mins. Whereas the washing time of an FB print alone may take up to 60 mins.

High-gloss paper waterproofing technology:
Since the ink is usually an anion-containing compound, the cationic compound is added, and the cationic compound is the most commonly used waterproofing technique for high gloss photographic paper, and the cationic compound on the high gloss photographic paper binds to the anion in the ink to act as a fixing agent.
High gloss paper waterproofing can also be achieved by absorbing water to achieve high water resistance.
High-gloss paper waterproofing can also be used to isolate the water method, increase the waterproof layer and protective layer. The key to this technology is the waterproof layer of ink permeability, transparency and gloss.
Inkjet paper application technology:
RC photo paper, the support is for the RC paper base and multi-functional coating, including the ink layer, solid ink layer and protective layer. To avoid the ink feathers, color does not string color, image quality is better.
Storage method
